What does “LOSE PRIME” mean?

A dead or dying battery would make it crank slower than usual.

battery new. it’s like its not getting fuel after it sits for a couple of hours, i recently put on a fuel pump and the guy says it in the evac lines have you hear of this before

What year is this Eldorado? Does it have a carburator? Is the fuel pump mounted on the engine?
