I have a friend in Georgia who is paralyzed from waist down. He has a car but needs modifications for hand driving. Does anybody know of a car shop that can help him with modification in middle Georgia?

They should have a family doctor to ask or even United Way and Google might give an answer.

Edit: I just put ( vehicle modifications for handicap in Georgia ) and found all sorts of info.

Cool, Thanks much! A friend just called - there’s one 20 miles away from us: Quail Country Customs in Byron, Georgia! Just in case anybody else needs the info. Thanks for the tip. MD might know of financing available, too! Have a great day, or night!

I’m sure your friend knows, but almost every major automaker offers substantial discounts to the disabled and local dealers can help with referrals to shops. [Here is one example](https://www.gmfleet.com/overview/mobility-vehicles.html). Best of luck.
