The “Kids” are 15 - 19 years old. Also, make sure you’re looking at the musical lyrics, not the movie lyrics. A lot was cleaned up. “A Real Draggin’ Wagon” “The Chicks Will Dream” have been substituted for their racier counterparts. ---

We have a “Street Carnival” lined up similar to the movie. We have a classic car club coming to set up their cars (in a roped off area) so people can see. There will also be inflatable rides for the kids, food vendors, and 50s music playing outdoors. We’re teaming up with a local Sonic Drive-In to have their employees dress up in 50s clothing for the night of the show and the first two nights. The kids are all high school and 1st year college students. ---

What the kids (15 - 19 years old) will learn is artistic lisence. They didn’t audition for the show to learn about cars (although with your help I will tell them that the terminology is “bogus”). Part of being a performer is knowing your character. Obviously the person spewing out these bogus lyrics doesn’t know so much about cars, as he does about using redundant phrases.
