# Gear shift stuck

this problem began over 3days…day 1 my it was hard for me to move my gear shift…day 2 it becaming harder…day 3 i pulled my car in reverse out the driveway…then when pulling back into drive it went all the way back…then when going to park the shifter went into the park position hovever the dash read N…then i went to drive it and 4mins into driving it cut off…i cant move the gear shift and the shift is in the park position but dash reads drive HELP!!!

I ask why, and I ask why again don’t people tell us what kind of vehicle we are working on?

Have the linkage checked. And do tell us what make model and year car or truck. Often there are known problems.
