I highly doubt that a Duramax is getting 14mpg. A coworker took his dad’s '05 Chevy diesel(Duramax) truck from Marion to Cleavland and back and only used 1/4 tank of fuel. I dunno how big of a tank it’s actually got, but going on [Edmunds.com](http://Edmunds.com), it has a 34 gallon tank. Not knowing how much driving around he did in cleavland, but just getting from Marion to Cleavland is almost 120 miles, 240 mile round trip, plus whatever driving around he did up there. So, calculating just the round trip, he got 28 MPG, in a 7000 pound vehicle.

Note the site is fishing for suc…uh, distributors, to cough up a yearly “distributor fee” that will be charged to a credit card or pulled from your bank account. The “product” is irrelevant.

What a sham.

Even loaded down it should still get 20 MPG. Unless you’re one of those binary drivers, or you’re doing a ton of city driving.

I would say the dishonest ones are the ones knowingly peddling this snake oil with full knowledge of it being a fake and the ignorant ones are the people who actually believe that it works.

Ignorant for sure. Just calculated my last tank and am back to 14 mpg. I dropped it off at the dealer to have the ERG valve changed (I think thats what its called) because the service engine soon light came on. I dont think that would decrease the mpg that much

Binary = 1 or 0
binary driving = pedal is floored(1) or not used at all(0)

Well,I warned them and it’s already happening, SPAM, next will be the TROLLS. Sigh.

What’s it going to take to get the web monkeys to sit up and take notice? Do really need to wait until this board become useless like the old board was until it became full moderated? Hope not, but it I don’t hear something in about a week or two I’m gone

My opinions are subject to change with new facts.

Mineral oil or liquid petrolatum is a by-product in the distillation of petroleum to produce gasoline. It is a transparent, colorless oil composed mainly of alkanes (typically 15 to 40 carbons) Alkanes are not very reactive and have little biological activity. Baby oil is simply scented mineral oil.
Alkanes can be viewed as a molecular scaffold upon which the interesting biologically active/reactive portions (functional groups) of the molecule can be hung upon. This is an excellant platform to introduce lubriciating (oil) and cleansing (acid) Ester’s into the upper and lower sections of the engine.
