# Gas pump shut off - keeps shutting off

Whenever I get gas in my Pontiac Vibe (03), the gas pump shuts off after every 5 seconds even when I know the gas tank is not full nor completely empty. First time it happened I thought the gas station’s pump was broken. A week later I filled up again and it happened again. So I tried a different gas station and it happened again. What’s going on. Its getting really frustrating to pump gas.
