# Fuel filter

i put a fuel filter on my 1994 f150 ford truck. it is on the braided line where the fuel pump is supposed to go. i did this as a  
  
 temporary fix. now i can not get the filter off. i tried using the steel and plastic disconnect tools. do i need a longer insert? please send help
