I’m looking to replace the fuel filter on my 2003 Subaru Forester, and I’m considering using this [fuel filter](https://www.subarupartspros.com/sku/42072pa010.html). Has anyone here used this specific part before? I’d love to hear about your experience with it. Did it fit well and resolve any issues you were having? I would greatly appreciate any installation tips or things to watch out for. Thanks in advance for your help! ---

Kind of a strange question considering it is an OEM replacement fuel filter, it should preform just as the factory fuel filter did… Why would you be asking about an OEM filter if it fit well or not?? You also made a pretty good post on another tread about the transmission other than it had no movement in any gear and you asked about it shifting, but yet you are asking for help changing a basic fuel filter with 2 rubber hoses and hose clamps (from looking at the filter)… AI Bot maybe?? 🤔 Are you just spamming a website?? Also kinda strange your handle has Chevy in it and so far you have mentioned Subaru Forester and a WRX STI… Other than that welcome to the forum… lol ---

I haven’t used one myself… But since it appears to be a genuine OEM Subaru fuel filter, I’d guess many millions of Subaru drivers have used this part in the past with great success. ---

Seriously? +1 Questioning whether a fuel filter from the vehicle manufacturer’s own parts supply is appropriate when replacing the vehicle’s original fuel filter is just a bit… strange… IMO. ---

You didn’t read his very thought out answer concerning a transmission issue on a different thread… Then he ask about a simple OEM filter, just doesn’t add up…
