“You need to sit in a 2009 Accord.”

Yuck! Too big! It’s as ugly as a Camry! Double yuk!

The early 1990s Accord and today’s Civic are comparably sized. The 2009 Accord is classified as a full size car! Crown Vic class!

Whooo did this and is in bankruptcy court for their transgressions? Won’t aaaanybody ever learn?

Anyway, I much prefer my 2005 Accord EX V6 to the new lumbering ox.

JTS, I was talking to OP. I understand how the Accord faithful consider the new, bigger-than-an-Avalon Accord a blasphemous vehicle!

This was the right size for an Accord ;o)

Let’s compare the 88’ Caprice to my Wifes 08’ Lexus…

How about 31mpg…Seats 5 comfortably…And I’ll bet it’ll beat the Caprice in a quarter-mile.

My 3 year old was near one of those old POS 80’s american boats yelling whats that smell (exhaust).

They spewed emmisions, car now are many times cleaner and a good thing as we drive many more miles on average and have more cars in this country.

“like usually in the low 20’s”

The same as my smaller, less powerful 76 Nova with straight 6.

People can laugh at them now, but cars like the 80s Caprice were more efficient than the ones from the previous decade.
