# Forum feature removal request

Can we get rid of the feature that automatically appends " - See more at: [http://community.cartalk.com/discussion/xxxx](http://community.cartalk.com/discussion/xxxx)" every time you copy text from a forum post? We’re copying the text to quote it, since the forum doesn’t have a real quote feature (another oddity. How much did you pay for this thing again? 😉 ) and so the people reading the pasted quote aren’t going to need to be directed to the thread, because they’re already there reading it.

Your link is broken, I have luck with highlight edit copy in post then edit paste in response, I probably misunderstand the issue.

I broke the link intentionally. The feature automatically takes whatever you copy and adds “see more at” plus a link to the post. All it does is result in people having to delete the addition when quoting people in a post.
