How can I replace the lamps (lights) behind the manual climate control assembly on a 2001 Ford Windstar? The panel has become rather dark in recent weeks.

It’s possible but part of the dash will have to be removed to do the bulb change. I suggest buying a Haynes repair manual (about $20) at your local auto parts. It should have a step by step procedure with pictures for changing the bulbs out.
