# Ford Taurus door light

Have a 98 Ford Taurus Se , the dashboard  
  
 light that shows when a door or the trunk is open, shows even when every thing is closed. not all the time! sometimes it will stay on for a day or two, and then it won’t come for another few days, it’s erratic. Has anybody had this problem

The switches inside the door that let you know the door is opened are sticking. Squirting some WD40 inside the door latch usually fixes it.
