Ford rehiring engineers because of AI debacle

Here’s where they occur most often:

Why, in the daytime I can see it coming, cloud formations and whatnots, at night, you can’t see anything, only hear one… I have been in many many tornado warnings, much prefer daytime ones…

Seen them go over me, around me but thankfully never took a direct hit (other than trees) by one…Even driven home while driving behind one… Sat in BK eating lunch watching the windows (breathing, only way to explain it) during one, everyone else ran for cover, I was more hungry than scared, ohh to be young again…
Would NEVER think of driving in one, on purpose, at night though…

Had damage multiple times from tornado’s to houses and trees…Very scary what mother nature can do when she decides to show off…

Sounds like another name for a “Squall line”.

Squall lines can create derechos, but not all the time.

13 years or so ago, a very narrow band of straight line wind came through this area of the New Hampshire coast. Took down most of the large pine forest on the land I own now, 2 years before I bought it. All the huge trunks with root ■■■■■ are still in the woods, laying in the same general direction.
