How do I disconnect the rear speakers in a 2008 Ford Ranger? I don’t know where to apply pressure to release the connector and don’t want to force anything and break it.

Which end? The speaker end or the stereo end? The speakers should have connectors that just pull off so I’m guessing the other end. Look at the connector carefully and you’ll see a place to squeeze to remove it. If you can’t figure it out, take the truck to a local car stereo shop.
