2013 5.0 135k miles
Ive posted before about my intermittent guage problems so ill be brief. It usually happens in august. It couldnt wait this year. I started it to go to work and the same old problem popped up. Stopped by the dealer and showed them (again) it shows a code of losing communication with the instrument panel. Theyre gonna contact some one they thought might could help at ford on Monday.
One difference is that the little yellow lights in the ac and fan buttons were on but very dim and flickering. Usually everything is off. Drove about 20 of my 30 mile commute and everything came back to life and worked fine.

I would think the dealer would try something like that, ive had it at 3 different ones while it was acting up. I realize they cant drop what theyre doing each time i stop in but 2 of them kept it and could duplicate the problem. 3rd one looked at me like i was crazy when i told them the part about happeing on august. Ive been driving it more the last month since my wifes crv broke down.
