# F150 electric mirrors malfunctioing

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew.For some reason my mirrors, both left side and right side, will only go up and left but they won’t move to the right or down. I’m not sure how to fix this.

I would first suspect a problem with the control switch contacts for those positions that aren’t working.

That was it! I ordered up a new switch from rockauto and now they work. That’s why these forums are great. I assumed that the cause was more mechanical. Thanks.
