# Extra key for my 2000 Volvo V70 wagon

what is the best way to obtain an extra key for this car? The local dealer quoted me $310.00!!

I recently saw a new sign in front of one of my local hardware stores. The sign advertised that they can now make those funky computer/chip keys. I have yet to stop in there to ask about it, but you might start calling around.

thanks, I’ll try that. Chips in keys are all new to me.
