My 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited with a 3.6L started taking a few seconds to start. Ran a scan and there’s no codes.

The next time you go to start it when you know this happens, just turn the ignition switch on for a second or two and then turn it off.

Repeat this a half dozen times and then try starting the engine. If the engine starts right up, it points to problem with the anti drain-back valve on the fuel pump.

Thank you for responding. If that’s what it is, that would require a new fuel pump, correct?

Thank you again. I will try that tomorrow. I appreciate the help.
