The engines choices in Outback/Legacy are 2.5L non-turbo or 2.5L turbo. The motor is not high revving.
The idea of high revving turbo’s is really not true anymore. Honda (non-turbo) specializes in very high revving motors that interesting last easily into the 200k range if not well beyond.
