I have a 2002 Saturn Vue AWD with 6 cylinder engine. Twice in the last two days the engine would not start although it turned over without difficulty it sounded like it was not getting fuel. The Vue would turn over and over, I’d shut it off and try repeatedly without drawing the battery down to get it to start. Then Voom it fires up. Any one have any thoughts on this ? Thanks

Lack of fuel pressure likely.

Partly clogged fuel filter?

Possible weak fuel pump (Not priming the fuel system) or fuel pressure regulator not holding the pressure up.
