First if you want to say that it is not one coil you would have to say it is 4 coils packaged in a module unit. Second this truck does not use a waste spark system. Each terminal on the coil pack feeds 1 cylinder only. Each tower fires one time per engine revolution. They only fire on the compresion stroke.

Thanks again for the help that I received here. I replaced the coil pack last night, wire, and plug and my truck is running much better now. I do plan to replace all of the other plugs and wires, but did not have time to do all of them last night. It’s the only vehicle that I have running right now so my main objective was just to be able to use it again. I regularly bicycle to work, but today would have been 4 days in a row if I didn’t get the truck running and my legs couldn’t take another day, plus it’s going to be 100+ here today. My wife had to laugh at me, I have 2 cars and a motorcycle, but the only thing running was my bicycle.
