My engine started making clicking noises a few days ago, and has been idling rough. I got my oil changed a few weeks ago, so that should be fine. I made an appointment to see what’s wrong, but it isn’t for another two weeks. Should I stop driving the car until then, or is it okay to drive? ---

The very first thing you should do is check your oil level. Assuming the oil level is fine has sent a lot of good engines to the scrap heap. Where did you get the oil changed? ---

I just checked the oil level, and it is fine. The oil was changed at the dealership. It’s a 2003 Ford Focus with about 130,000 miles on it. Thanks!
