Drum break issue

Where do you recommend I get parts from? I’m just curious.

Napa, Advance auto parts, O’Reilly’s, and always use the better line of parts…

Take a picture before disassembly for reference purposes.

There are 7 before-repair pictures displayed in post # 23, review them and give to OP your advice.

I’m in the process of bleeding my brakes. I was going to take it to a mechanic, but they wanted to charge me $700, so I got a tool to do it myself.

Why? Just replacing shoes/pads doesn’t require bleeding. And many ABS systems are not simple to bleed.

Is this where someone should say ( Put down the tools and step away from the vehicle ).

Come on give me a break im trying here :joy:

Brake work has much higher stakes than something like putting in plugs. That’s a big reason I’d recommend a pro if you’re having trouble with this project.
