# Dropped a cap into the power steering fluid - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

I accidentally dropped a plastic cap into the power steering fluid reservoir and can’t get it out. Will this be a problem ? If yes, what should I do?

Get a flashlight and long needle nose pliers or maybe a hemostat. Look in, fish around and try and remove it. It might not do any harm, but I’d want it out.

You can always remove the reservoir and dump it out, worst case.
