In addition to wearing clean underwear, my mother was always concerned about us getting our names in the paper. What a humiliating way to die and the family has to cope with it. ---

I’m surprised that tidbit didn’t get suppressed, seeing as he died, and nobody else was involved. Generally most of the time stuff like that never makes the paper when it has no relevance to anyone alive, and plenty of suicides go down as “accidental gun discharges.” ---
