Drive more miles?

Thanks–now that it’s mentioned is there a way/test to determine when my pads are low and almost needing replacing ? Thanks

Most brake pads have a warning indicator built into then. It’s a metal tab that will start rubbing on the rotor when the pads are getting low and it will make a terrible screeching noise that usually stops immediately when you step on the brakes. Other than that, many auto shops will check brakes for free so you could always ask at your oil changes - as long as you use a trustworthy shop.

That’s the problem–finding a trustworthy shop. Thanks for the advice
