We own a 2001 Dodge Durango. For the last few months the door locks have been locking and unlocking by themselves at a rapid speed. The only way we have found to stop this once it has begun is to turn the headlights on. It doesn’t do it all the time - mostly when it’s damp outside. Around the same time the standard car alarm that came with the vehicle stopped working. The remote door lock doesn’t work either - it sounds like it locks but it actually doesn’t.

When 10 year old electronic gimmickry stops working, sometimes it’s best just to have it disconnected and use the manual locks…
