# Dome light on 1997 Civic LX

The dome light on my Civic works fine if operated manually, but when the switch is set to go on when a door opens, the light does not go on regardless of which door is opened. What obvious thing am I missing? The bulb is brand new.

Either the switch position is bad or the wiring to it has a problem.
