Happy to hear you are good with the repairs and you got some relief in money back from the dealer. Honda and all car mfgr’s really hold the dealers accountable for customer satisfaction surveys. In this case I think the dealer is more worried you will file a complaint with Honda Corp. that they came through with a check to you. A dissatisfied customer can really hurt a dealer if the manufacturer (Honda, GM, Toyota, etc.) gets wind of it.
A few times I’ve used dealer service the cashier and service writers spent more time telling me how to give them top ratings than discuss my car issues. “You will get a call and tell them …” yada yada yada.
