Does a car need electricity to run?

I remember those types and also the ones that had a small gas engine mounted on the side of the diesel that we called a pony engine that worked the same way the first one I saw was on a bulldozer.

Or rope start a 90 hp outboard motor, 2 feet on the hull, pull with all your might and land in the rear facing seat :wink:

I’m impressed that OP is still responding in this thread. How many times do we get questions only for the person asking the question to never return and read the answers?
