As long as it is not wheezing and dealing
I used to get the paper version of the WSJ and man was that a mistake. Too many trees killed and would fill up the recycling bin. Every day the thing would come. Maybe on line would be OK now but really who can read the whole thing?
If there’s anything worth telling Jim Cramer will tell it @bing.
You are probably the last person I would expect to be a three stooges fan
When my kids were 12-18 we’d go camping where you needed a 4wd vehicle to get there. No running water, so bathrooms…you tent and. We’d bring our kayaks and mountain bikes. Only bath we took was in the mountain streams we kayaked on.
We also camp at some camping resorts. Complete opposite type camping. Loved them both.
I recently gave it a try, watched half of the first season’s episodes. I can see why folks like it, pretty good acting, good inside-science comedy lines such as
Scientist-man speaking to cute non-scientist girl: I’m sort of depressed.
Girl: Why?
Man: Physics has been in a rut for the past 30 years w/string theory, worse, it can never be proved.
Girl: Cheer up, I’m sure something new is right a round the corner! … lol
But overall, geezer-me finds it a little too silly to continue watching. Some of the characters are not very likeable. Its a tv show more geared for the younger crowd I guess.
Man, who dug this up from years past? At any rate the ratings seem to suggest that people are watching the old shows instead of the new.
As far as Kramer goes he has been wrong more times than google maps. Listen to him but then do the opposite.
+1
The Kramer character was–more or less–the avatar for the… less informed.
Necro-thread indeed. I didn’t read it all.
But I get Green Acres re-runs every night on MeTV. I don’t always watch. But often I do because I have such a crush on Eve Gabor. What a hottie.
I don’t watch much tv any more but if I have trouble getting to sleep I’ll turn me tv on about 5 or 6 am. Usually the hillbillies and some other ones I don’t recall but enjoy them.
