Do you (or would you) drive a manual stick transmission in congested traffic each day?

@Mustangman Don’t encourage Triedaq and his old jokes. He is the age where his jokes and stories are all reruns.
He keeps drooling over Mazda Miatas. If he buys one, he won’t be driving it because it will be my car. I’m still young enough to enjoy taking it up through the gears and I bet I can drive a stick at least as well as he can. Mrs. Triedaq

LOL, triedaq, if being less than old is a criteria a whole lot of us will have to leave!

I drive nothing but sticks for almost 40 years, but IMHO automatics are much better for cities.
Truth is, it’d probably be hard to find an affordable car with a true manual tranny these days. They just don’t seem to offer them anymore.

My son-in-law drove his manual Hoda Civic hybrid from Fredericksburg VA to Washington DC ( I-95 ) for years and never complained. They also had a manual Jeep wrangler.
The only time my daughter complained was when they went to replace the Jeep with an Escape and she could NOT order a manual trans.

Oof. Plus 2. If you get a Miata, better park it at the neighbors so at least you can drive it once in a while.
