DIY'er tire balancing?

What is the speed limit in San Jose? We know you don’t travel with those old vehicles.

65 mph is the usual freeway max limit.

hmmm … how do I get my Corolla to the emissions shop then? On the back of a flat bed?

I really miss the days when Carolyn would close threads that were inactive for 90 days.

I expect that the emission test was performed locally and there isn’t a lot of highway driving involved with a trip to the grocery store.

Didn’t you say that you no longer take day trips to the beach or other places due to the high cost of something or other?

Gotta remember if it wasn’t for th3 old discussions, traffic would be halved. But then I miss the old rant and rave days when you could actually see that postal guy turn beat red with steam coming out of his ears. I think he didn’t like the administration.

Presuming the current traffic count is an even number … lol …

One thing I don’t miss about the old bias ply tires was the set they would take in cold weather. Then, you’d get some thumping until they warmed up enough. I still experience that with my boat trailers that have bias ply tires. They seem much better than back in the day but still exhibit that characteristic if they sit in one place too long.

Yep, feeding French fries to the seagulls is getting expensive!

On a more serious note, for us, parking at beach area is becoming very expensive. But, like Charley, I don’t surf.

Then there is the self appointed tire expert, not Capri that says if car came from the factory with bias, two ply tires you don’t upgrade.
