Is there some way to disable permanently the automatic headlight turn-on system? Starts are hard on HID headlamps and they always turn on when I start the car in the garage. Wrote to Corvette folks but no answer. ---

Do the headlights come on when your garage lights are on? If not, then you could put your garage lights on a timer (or smart plug) so that they shut off after you pull out.
