need some recommendation on the purchase of a diagnostic scanner. ---

Need some more information: Is this only for your personal car? What make model and year car? ---

And, what do you intend to do with it? Just read codes, or more extensive diagnostics, like monitoring sensors? Code reads are fairly cheap. True scan tools can get pricey. ---

Prices range from about $100 or even less for a simple code reader to upwards of $10,000 for true scanners that will do anything. transman
