My 2003 Jeep Cherokee totally died all of a sudden. No lights, no locks, nothing. I am skeptical that its the battery because of how sudden this happened.

Please explain “totally died all of a sudden.”

Were you driving at the time?

How old is the battery?

Batteries die suddenly all the time so I don’t see a connection to your skepticism.

Have you looked at the battery, battery cables and fusible links?

And lastly, did a new battery fix the problem and was the charging system tested when the new battery was installed?

If so, you can sleep soundly. An old battery can seem to have died suddenly. It’s common.
