I have a dead battery and can’t unlock the door to open the hood. I have a key fob but don’t know how to open it to get the emergency key out. How do do that? ---

Try putting ( unlock 2016 Lincoln MKX ) in your search engine and you will find several videos showing you how to do that. If you look at the back of your remote you will see a slide you push and the back if the remote will open and you will find the key. ---
