I have a 92 Buick Century with 187000 miles. After it died on the road, I had the crank sensor and ignition module replaced. A few days later I had trouble restarting the engine after I had it turned off for a few minutes. It cranked at normal revs, but it did not start right away. I took it back to my mechanic who then replaced the car’s computer and a PROM. I still had the same problem shortly afterwards. Is it possible for heat to cause this restarting problem? I have no trouble starting the car when the engine is cold. Is it possible that a certain ignition or fuel device could develope a heat sensitive problem? jmc06@alumni.fdu.edu

I think its possible your mechanic doesn’t know what he is doing. go some place else.
