# Corolla 2002 door handle

The outside handle of the driver side door in my Corolla is not working. I can open the door only by using the inside handle.  
  
 Any comments?

The outside handle may have become disconnected from the latch mechanism. You, or your mechanic, will have to remove the inner door panel to investigate and repair the problem.

Don’t wait until the inside handle doesn’t work, because it’s REALLY difficult to remove the inner door panel if the door won’t open.
