Is the Mini fine in the snow? I need a new car and we already have a big Ford Focus Wagon. We want to buy new so when you add up the prices we might as well go for a fun car like the Mini. I’d use it as an everyday car though and live in PA, so will it be fine in winter?

Any tips about regular vs convertible?

They are fine and very good if you equip them with four dedicated winter tires(see [tirerack.com](http://tirerack.com) for pricing).

Get a hard top, convertibles in the winter seem to be a hassle. Been there done that and it was a hassle.
