**75 years in business, under the same family’s ownership!**  
Their Shell station still sits on one corner of their old farm.

Yes, they get consistently good reviews. And, if you didn’t read the article, it mentioned that they renovated three older cars and gave them to two charities plus a local woman who was recently widowed. They are an integral part of the community.

Nah, just kidding. That’s pretty cool. I have a lot of respect for business owners who keep a place running for that long. Especially with the kind of customer interactions mechanics often deal with, I’d probably be homicidal within a year if I owned a shop. 😉

The shop I use is similar. A family business servicing cars since 1947. They aren’t cheap, but the do good work. Competent mechanics go there to work and don’t leave until they retire.
