# Clutch

i have an f-250 4wd and it needs a clutch what would be a good price for labor? a guy said he would do it for 300 dollars.

“A guy said”…? How many F250 4wd clutches has he done?? If he has the skills and tools, Do It!!!

These are tough and like Caddyman says if you trust the man $300.00 is OK. Pay attention to the mechanics decision about what to do with the flywheel and pilot bushing. Technically the flywheel should be turned and the bushing replaced, if the mechanic is trying to make time he may be tempeted to skip these steps.
