# Clutch on a '02 Nissan Sentra

Hey people!  
  
  
  
 I’ve been living with this issue on my Nissan Sentra for about 3 years now and I just can’t take it anymore. In addition to the “clutch screech” I heard from my pedal, the clutch stroke doesn’t feel smooth at all and it engages very quickly or in a short amount of stroke distance. I want to use the work “corky” when describing how the clutch feels when I have my shoes off as I push it in and let it off. It does NOT slip, but this problem is really eroding my experience with a manual tranny.  
  
  
  
 Aside from just getting it looked at professionally, can anyone on this forum suggest a possible explanation?
