# Clicking sound from alternator

Clicking sound coming from the alternator is this typical or a sign I need to replace it. My serpentine belt is shredding so I am trying to rule out a few different issues. Not to mention looks like the pulley is bent. [June 21, 2022 - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/few6_X0XBaw)

Also replace the belt, tensioner and idler pulley.
