I have a 2002 Chevy Z71 cab and a half. I am getting a clicking noise from the front end when i am under 30. When I get going faster like 45 and up it becomes a hum like a wheel bearing but dont know if that is what it is or the half shaft?

If this is a four wheel drive vehicle I would replace the front U-joint(s).

These truck use CV joints now. Not u-joints. CV joints click or rattle when they are worn.

Replacing the entire shaft is very routine these days. Messing with the joints is generally not worth the trouble.
