I recently bought a 2008 Honda Civic. When I shift from either park or reverse into drive and start moving forward, I get a single distinctive click within a second. The automatic electronic door lock system is disabled per the instructions in the owner’s manual. Is the click part of that lock system that still moves but is just not able to actually lock the doors? Or something else? The direction (left, right, straight ahead) the car is rolling makes no difference.

It seems to come from the front end of the car. I don’t think it’s coming from inside the doors.
