Car has about 65K miles. Daughter uses it, mostly out of town, and I seldom drive it. Last week I noticed that when I accelerate slowly from a stop, when I get to about 17MPH there is a little bit of stutter as the transmission upshifts (2nd gear to 3rd, I think). “Stutter” means pulsing stop/go, sort of like ABS but much lower rate. It lasts only for a few seconds. Maybe something like the tranny hunting between gears??? I did not notice the stutter if I accelerated forcefully, but I did not get much chance to experiment.

Should I ignore it, or should I take it to the trusted mechanic or tranny shop?
