Chipping your engine

galaxybeing,

Please save your money. This chip is a Royal POS, and has the capacity to damage your ECU, despite the claims.

Basically, this chip ‘tricks’ your ECU into enriching the fuel mix by ‘tweaking’ the signal for the IAT (Intake Air Temp sensor). This MAY increase your horsepower at WOT,maybe by as much as 2 or 3 HP, but will only serve to lower your gas mileage. The ECU will also have issues, since the O2 sensor will be telling it that it is running rich, and the ECU will keep adjusting trims to try to get the fuel mix back into balance.

Up to 35 HP? Not in a Ford Focus!!! Not by a long shot!!

Sorry GB, that web site sells lots of bogus performance parts. “Turbonator”? C’mon!
