My car is narrow enough that I can drive straight through without touching the lines. I imagine that some of the people in myneighborhood would be intimidated and go about 10 mph while gripping the steering wheel tightly and sweating. ---

We had a greater waste, chicanes compromised of wavy widened sided walks, raised grass medians. One blocks the entrance to a drug store but allows a turn into an exit only driveway. Have these “improvements” stopped people jaywalking at night in dark clothing? Have these “improvements” stopped people on bicycles or skateboards from ignoring red lights? ---

There is one of those devices in a town near me, and it frequently tells me that I’m going 188 mph, despite the fact that I’m driving 45-50 mph. ---

Being so cheap that I straighten curves to lessen tire wear and shorten distance, I would just continue straight athe speed limit.
