If it gets THAT BAD that a 4WD/AWD vehicle must chain up to proceed, STAY HOME!! It’s not worth it! No matter if you are the best driver in the world driving the best 4WD in the world chained up with the best chains in the world, you have no control of other drivers who may be (will be) not as well equipped or skilled as you. Why wind up on TV in the middle of a 50 car pile-up?? IT’S JUST NOT WORTH IT!! Wait a day or two!
